Why does Historicast need my location?
Historicast uses your location to discover historical events and stories that happened near you. It also provides local weather information for your area. Your location data is only used while the app is open and is never shared with third parties.
How do I enable or disable location access?
You can manage location permissions at any time by going to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Historicast on your device. You can choose "While Using the App" or "Never."
Is my data shared with anyone?
We take your privacy seriously. Historicast does not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Location data is used solely to provide you with relevant historical content and local weather.
The app isn't showing content for my area. What should I do?
Make sure location access is enabled for Historicast. If it is, try closing and reopening the app. Historical content availability can vary by region — we're always expanding our coverage. If you think there's been an error, please reach out to us.
